General rules of conduct for students

This section outlines expected behavior and discipline guidelines for all students.

College Timings and Sessions

Defines the operational hours (9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Mon–Sat) and class session structure (forenoon, afternoon). Faculty have discretion to extend sessions, including Sundays when necessary.

Identification and Attendance

Mandatory wearing of ID cards, timely arrival, and active participation in offline/online sessions. Attendance is strictly monitored, and latecomers may be denied entry.

Classroom Conduct

Students must maintain silence and discipline in class and corridors. Uniforms are compulsory on specified days, and dress code violations are not tolerated.

Electronic Devices and Mobility

Mobile phones are prohibited during class. Movement between classes or leaving campus requires permission. Misuse leads to confiscation or penalties

Behavior and Decorum

Polite, respectful behavior is expected. Discrimination, use of foul language, substance abuse, carrying weapons, or immoral acts will lead to disciplinary or legal action.

Property and Campus Cleanliness

Students are responsible for keeping the campus clean. Vandalism, writing on walls, or defacing property is treated as a criminal offense with possible group penalties if culprits are not identified

Extracurricular and Political Activities

Participation in political or disruptive activities is strictly forbidden. All student disputes must be handled through college authorities, not external parties

Compliance and Consequences

Violation of any rules will result in appropriate disciplinary action as per university norms.

Assessment Structure

SEP: IA tests (20 marks each) + semester exam (80 marks)
NEP: IA tests (40 marks) + semester exam (60 marks)

Exam Conduct

Exam integrity is essential. Malpractice leads to disqualification and penalties. Personal stationery is required; sharing is not allowed.

Any disputes regarding attendance must be handled by students or parents. Outside involvement (political or third-party) is not permitted.
